[OOC] Permissions Post

chocolateisbrainfood and just ask me before adding me. I'll probably say yes, but I like to get to know who I'm adding a bit first.
Backtagging: Yes please! I can be slow when work is busy so I will backtag as long as you want.
Threadhopping: Ask first! As long as all players involved are cool with it, I'm cool with it.
Fourthwalling: Depends on the context so just ask me first.
Offensive subjects (elaborate): I'm not offended easily as long as it's clear that the behavior is IC for the character, but flippant discussion and glorifying of alcoholism, drug abuse, prejudice and/or discrimination or other personal topics like that are not something I'm comfortable with playing out without first talking it out. If it crosses a line, I'll let you know and I hope you will do the same.

Basics:
Mel is the daughter of the head of the Medarda Clan, Ambessa, who was exiled to Piltover both as punishment and protection. She was taken in by a branch family of her Clan, and brought herself up to even be a member of Piltover's Council. She invested in the future of Piltover, wanting to see it succeed both for herself (to prove herself to the mother who sent her away) and for the prosperity of the city.
Mel's core traits are her compassion, her stubbornness, her diplomacy, her intuition, and her resourcefulness. She believes diplomacy and compromise can solve all disputes if all sides truly want a peaceful resolution, but knows that not everyone wants peace and sometimes it will be refused until fighting is the only option left. But she refuses to believe war and violence are the only options there are, even after having lost everything that matters to her time and again, having her family, history, and even her identity taken from her until she had to remake herself. She has chosen her own path now, to take control of the Medarda Clan and create the future she wants to see herself. Love guides her, even when it hurts her most.
I play Mel as being bi with no particular leanings. She does have a Type, people who are soft of heart but strong in their convictions and see a brighter future. Compassionate visionaries. She usually keeps herself as a bit of a distance because well, the last time she let someone get that close... Not that it will stop her if she does fall in love again, but she's definitely not going looking. Love comes in many ways. But she's not engaging with anyone under 21 like that.
She's 34-ish, tall, slender, with long dark hair she often keeps in braids and twists, but will take out for care and maintenance, hazel eyes, and golden ink tattoos made to resemble armor over much of her body, even lining her face and hands and down her legs. She takes great care with her appearance and how she presents herself. She is also a mage with powerful solar magic and protective magic built into her tattoos.
Kissing this character: Sure, but she might smack you if you just grab her without asking.
Flirting with this character: Go right ahead!
Initiating sexual acts with this character: Again, push too soon and you may regret it, but if she's amenable, she's willing to try a lot of things.
Sexual Limits with this character: Most things on the table, but darker subjects such as violent, physically damaging kinks are only cool if it's been agreed from the get-go. Let's talk. Nothing like watersports/wasteplay. Anything in that frame/category of kink is a NO.
Fighting with this character: She prefers to talk things out over fighting, but she's can if she has to.
Injuring this character (include limits and severity): Let's talk this out I don't mind injuries!
Killing this character: Not here for this without discussion.
Using telepathy/mind reading abilities on this character: Don't mind this but again, let's talk it out.
Empathy: Mel is a mage with Empathic abilities. She is able to see the innerselves of those around her and use this to draw out their innermost feelings and/or magic. She can turn their magic back against them or turn it into a strength.
Warnings: If you're ever not sure, just asking me is cool. My timezone is EST but I'm busy often until 6pm M-F and Saturdays every so often for RL stuff.
